At Home Church, we are anchored by three distinct values. These guiding principles shape our decisions and bring clarity to our direction as a church family.
Relational Hospitality
Everything we do is about relationships—with God, with you, and with one another. Through these connections, we live out the "one another" practices of Jesus, build our lives on relational generosity just as He did, and grow in everyday relationships within a life-giving community.
This includes opportunities to eat, laugh, pray, grieve, minister, meet practical needs in our neighbourhood, and do life together in relationship. We are focused on practicing relational hospitality in various Home Groups throughout the week and city.
Intentional Generosity
Every person has a purpose—found in Jesus and expressed through making a meaningful difference in the world.
At Home Church, we are intentional about empowering people in their journey with God so they can fully live out their purpose in Christ. This includes creating ministry opportunities, offering skill development, and providing prayerful support as individuals seek discernment, clarity, and confidence in the unique calling Jesus has placed on their lives.
We are not a consumer church or a Sunday-centric church. We are a church committed to generosity with our time, talents, and treasures, developing each person’s call to serve the needs of our church, neighbourhood, city, and world.
Room to Encounter God
We believe hope is not wishful thinking or just a fleeting emotion—hope is a person, and His name is Jesus.
Because of this, we intentionally create space for the Holy Spirit to speak, heal, guide, and minister within our church community.
Our church fosters an openness to whatever God may be up to in our services, ministries, and everyday moments. This means that we offer various prayer meetings, opportunities during Sunday services, for response to ministry needs and prayer requests, and intentional teaching about living in the Holy Spirit in our day-to-day lives.
