Andy grew up on farm in the Kootenays of BC. He was called into ministry at a summer camp and later attended Summit Pacific College and graduated with a BA in Theology. His first youth pastoral role with Annick was at Richmond Pentecostal Church, one of the most multicultural churches in the BCYD representing 52 different nations. In 2008, Andy and his family moved to West Kelowna as the Associate Pastor of Next Generations. He was involved in local schools and oversaw a large youth ministry. In 2014, the Gabruch's moved back to the Lower Mainland to be the Next Generation Director of the PAOC. In his leadership, he planted 5 youth ministries and mentored 11 youth workers into ministries, and oversaw Historymaker, the largest youth conference in BC. In 2020, Andy starting working with Broadway Church as an Associate of Multiplication, providing strategic initiatives for a thriving church. He has been the Lead Pastor at VCPC since the fall of 2023.
Rev. Doctor Pastor Andy Gabruch has been in full-time ministry with the PAOC for over 20 years. His work has included next-generation ministries as a youth pastor, provincial youth director, national youth director, and next generation executive member with the World Assemblies of God. He has a strategic ministry business that has worked with local schools, local governments, non-profit organizations, and churches on engaging culture and ministry. His business is called DUCO Leadership, meaning, “lead for TODAY” at www.andygabruch.com. Andy has been married to Annick for over 20 years and has 4 awesome kids. He loves doing ministry alongside his family. Andy is honoured to be the Lead Pastor at VCPC.
